Knitted out

If you had told me two years ago that I would be wearing red, blue and yellow together and enjoying it, I would have scoffed at you.  I had a wardrobe that was mostly black - black, safe and boring.

Cardigan - Factory outlet New Look.  Shorts - DIY.
Mustard tights - Topshop.  Flats - New Look.
Hat - Shriya's.  I have the same one in black, so we swapped.
Bracelets - Made my mother.  Earrings - Made by my aunt.

Estimated temperature - 1 degree.

Well, here we are.

I am crazy about the mix of navy, red and mustard and I keep having visions of looking for this same combo in the form of a dress, although I love the massive oversized-ness of this cardigan.

Also, these are some of the favourite earrings that I own.  (Hmm, come to think of it, a favourite jewellery post might be a good idea.)  My aunt who lives in the States made them and gave them to me when she came to visit in Singapore, and at one point, I was wearing them nearly every day.  They are a great pop of colour and they go with everything.

I wore this outfit for class and then a Christmas dinner of sorts in the pub with my classmates.  We set up a little wooden Christmas tree (sent to me in the mail by Priya) and stuck it on the end of the table.  Thank you Priya!  Look how cute it is when set up!

Dinner then proceeded in an extremely strange fashion where we ended up playing drinking games that involved people tumbling and cartwheeling all over the pub, and one of the guys running around pretending to be a ballerina.  Seriously.

Anyroad, I'm off to Paris over the next few days (I know it sounds impossibly jetset but we will be staying in a hostel and subsisting on stale croissants), so posting may be a little slow, but I hope to have lots of pictures when I return!

Ok, first off I love the pairing of such strong colors- and you make it look so effortless!

Second- your going to paris? Um yeah that is impossibly jetset, you lucky girl you! I was there for a week in August and fell in love. Eat a macaroon for me, since I failed to do so the first time ;)
